Harris Plant To Test Sirens (MyNC.com)
The Harris Plant will be test sirens Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. There are 83 sirens in a 10-mile area surrounding the plant. This will be a full-volume short duration test that will last approximately five seconds. This test is conducted to make sure each siren works properly.
